Job Responsibilities:
- Sort incoming mail and packages according to destination and delivery route
- Process outgoing mail and packages, including weighing, stamping, and labeling items
- Operate postal equipment such as postage meters, letter sorters, and barcode scanners
- Assist customers with inquiries, requests, and postage purchases at the retail counter
- Maintain accurate records of mail and package transactions and deliveries
- Ensure compliance with postal regulations and security procedures
- Deliver mail and packages to designated addresses using a company vehicle or on foot
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a postal or clerical role preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license for delivery positions
