Job Description:
Durable Decks, a trusted Calgary-based company specializing in custom outdoor decking and carpentry solutions, is hiring a skilled Carpenter to join their growing construction team. Job Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials to build custom decks and outdoor structures
- Interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate construction
- Operate power tools, saws, and other carpentry equipment safely and effectively
- Install railings, stairs, framing, and finishes
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times
- Work closely with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Communicate with clients professionally when on-site
Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience (decking experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction tools and techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
