Kona Joe Coffee LLC, a pioneer in trellised coffee farming and one of the most prestigious coffee producers in Hawaii, is hiring Coffee Farm Workers to join our dedicated agricultural team. Based in the beautiful hills of Kealakekua, Hawaii, this position involves hands-on tasks in the coffee fields, from planting and pruning to harvesting and processing. 🧺 Job Responsibilities
- Assist in planting, weeding, and pruning coffee trees
- Harvest ripe coffee cherries during picking season
- Sort and clean harvested coffee beans
- Operate small farm machinery and hand tools safely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and facilities
- Support irrigation and fertilization activities
- Help process beans through pulping, drying, and bagging
- Follow all farm safety and hygiene protocols
- Occasionally assist with farm tours and customer visits
🎓 Education & Qualifications
- No formal education required; high school diploma or GED is a plus
- Experience in agriculture or farm labor is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in outdoor conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be punctual, reliable, and have a good work ethic
- Willingness to learn about coffee farming and sustainability
