Job Description:
Millennium Hotel is seeking a meticulous and experienced General Cashier to manage all cash handling operations within the hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing exceptional service to guests and staff.

Job Responsibilities:
- Handle all cash transactions, including receiving, disbursing, and recording payments.
- Ensure accuracy in all cash handling procedures and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Reconcile cash and credit card transactions at the end of each shift and prepare daily reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and security for all cash and check transactions.
- Conduct periodic audits of cash drawers and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to cash handling promptly.
- Provide support to the accounting department by preparing financial reports and assisting with month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with training and mentoring junior staff on cash handling procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow and address any cash-related issues.
Education and Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cash handling or a similar financial role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cash management practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
