Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and bar bending schedules
- Cut, bend, and fix steel rebars and mesh using hand tools or machinery
- Tie rebar using wire and pliers as per specifications
- Set out the work area, ensuring all measurements are accurate
- Assist in pouring concrete over installed steel reinforcement
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
- Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and other laborers
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a steel fixer or rebar worker
- Basic ability to read construction drawings
- Good understanding of measurement, cutting, and bending techniques
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors on-site
- Familiarity with hand tools such as wire cutters, pliers, hammers, and rebar benders
- Basic English communication skills
