Job Description
Unilever, a global leader in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), is seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our London distribution centre. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, handling world-renowned brands like Dove, Ben & Jerry’s, and Persil. Unilever Careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch using WMS technology
- Operate MHE (forklifts/pallet trucks) after certification (training provided)
- Maintain 5S standards for warehouse organisation and safety
- Complete inventory checks and report discrepancies
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations (including manual handling procedures)
Requirements & Skills
Essential:
- Previous warehouse/logistics experience (FMCG preferred)
- Basic numeracy and IT skills for stock systems
- Ability to lift up to 25kg safely
- FLT license (desirable but not essential)
Personal Qualities:
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Safety-conscious attitude
Salary & Benefits
- £12.50-£14.50/hour (including shift allowance)
- Rotating shifts (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm)
