Job Description:
Federal Exchange is currently seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a tidy and organized checkout area. Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the establishment and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently
- Scan items, enter prices, and calculate totals using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as needed
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate amounts
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking bags and cleaning equipment
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous and professional manner
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Strong numerical and math skills
